The Kalgidhar Society whose camp I have visited many times have rendered and are rendering marvelous services to the earthquake victims of Uri. They have reached to the remotest corners to help out the people living in misery and distress. I, personally and on behalf of the Administration, am grateful to the Society and the karsewaks, for the help they have rendered and wish this Society to be always in high spirits. The Kalgidhar Society has done a commendable job in relief and rehabilitation work in earthquake affected Uri helping equally all the communities; Hindus, Muslims and Sikhs. After relief rehabilitation work is going on in many villages - also construction of Gurdwaras, Mandirs and Mosques. They are doing great service to Mankind. |
