Under Akal Talent Search Scheme, The Kalgidhar Society conducts an examination to identify brilliant young minds from lower strata of the society for further qualitative free education from class VI to XII at various Akal Academies.

Regular medical camps are organized wherein specialists from Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Patiala, Chandigarh, Delhi, Mumbai and abroad perform free surgeries and provide treatment for various diseases. | Economic uplift of backward rural hilly area |
| |
| India is a nation of villages. Rural India which comprises 5.5 lakh villages and encompasses three fourths of India's population is characterized by low income levels. There is a big chasm in the facilities available to the city dwellers and rural folk. The villagers still suffer from lack of education, employment, medical and other facilities. They have to cover miles to avail these facilities which are of mediocre standard
The economic uplift of the backward hilly rural area initiated by The Kalgidhar Society is unique in its own perspective, in which free education and employment is provided to the local rural people. |
| |
| Cultural Exchange |
| |
| Regular Youth Camps are held every year separately for Indian as well as foreign students. There is a regular and healthy exchange program between the visiting and some of the Akal Academy students with a view to imbibe the democratic as well as modern scientific techniques from foreign students and pass it on to their fellow Akal Academy students. On the other hand, the students from abroad get to know know their mother tongue, religion and traditions, from which they were deprived of, while living in distant lands. |
